Trust

Trust

I want to help you stay connected with your loved one. That is the whole point of this blog! It's an overwhelming concept, and I am figuring the best way to start to teach it is by breaking it down into bite-sized pieces. So, the first step is trust. We have all heard stories, or maybe even experienced it ourselves, of a loved one on the other side of the country or world having a sudden feeling when something is wrong with their daughter, sister, or brother. You know what I am talking about. It is the sixth sense. My personal belief is that we are all connected by strands of energy. Energy is not bound by time or space. It is a vibration through the cosmos. We all have the ability to tap into that vibration. And it is even easier when it is with a loved one to whom we are already bound.

My experience is when people first start trying to connect with another being energetically, they try too hard. So first things first, trust. Trust yourself. Trust your gut. When loved ones from beyond have visited me, they say things to me I could never have made up on my own. There is a feeling, a knowing. It is them. I know it. For me, this is usually in my dreams. After my Dad died, I dreamt about him often. But then there were a few treasured dreams where I knew it was a true visit. I will go into these experiences in more detail down the road. For now, step one is trust. If you know something to be real, trust it. If you aren't sure, ask yourself, would you have made that up in your head? Could you feel your loved one's energy? And also, even if you made it up (eventually, you will know the difference), but even if you did, it brings comfort, right? So trust it. Trust the process. Trust yourself. Trust your deceased loved one. Trust.

More to come soon. Until then -
